The Joliet Police Department is not participating in, leading, or organizing ANY parades. Upon request, a Police Officer may stop by a birthday child’s house to flash the emergency lights and sirens. Please note, based on calls for service, the Joliet Police Department cannot guarantee the visit will take place at the requested date & time. 

Please read over the following BEFORE completing the Request Form: 

• Request forms can be submitted up to a minimum 72 hours (3 full days) prior to the requested date & time. Any request submitted less than 72 hours prior to the date & time of the request notice will not be accepted.
• The requested address MUST be in the City of Joliet. Any address not in the City of Joliet will not be accepted. The easiest way to determine if you live in the City of Joliet limits is if your water/sewer/garbage bill comes from the City of Joliet.
• We will only be able to fulfill at most 5 Birthday requests a day; requests are filed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
