There are many ways the Joliet community get involved with the Joliet Police Department. We offer many opportunities and programs for our citizens, so we can 'work the community for a safe city'.

Some of these opportunities and programs include Recruiting Information, Crime Prevention, Community Alert Messages, Police Explorer Post 220, Special Olympics Illinois, Child Passenger Safety, Citizens Police Academy, Joliet Auxiliary Police, Ride-Along Program, Rail Safety, and Halloween Safety.
