The Joliet 9-1-1 Communications Center provides emergency services to any citizen that lives, works, or passes through the City of Joliet, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Joliet Communications Center personnel are highly trained professionals that answer emergency and non-emergency phone calls, and dispatch the Joliet Police & Fire departments to calls for service. Each member of our staff is a certified Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD) and is trained to provide critical pre-arrival instructions over the phone as needed.
