The structure has an asymmetrical front elevation dominated by a large front porch which also curves around to the east elevation. The house is distinguished by a distinctive semi-circular balcony on the second floor east elevation that mimics the first floor porch. The structure is a Local Landmark and is part of the Upper Bluff National Register and Local Districts.
