Martin F. Kennedy House — 1207 Taylor Street

The Martin F. Kennedy House is a large picturesque, 2½-story Tudor style residence built in 1928 on a cement block foundation. The structure exhibits many of the basic characteristics of the Tudor style as seen in its sweeping, asymmetrically-placed, clipped gable roof and interesting brick pattern decorated with flagstone accents. The native limestone sills and random placement of projecting brick on the façade contribute to the Tudor style. The structure is a Local Landmark.
