John Leiser House — 523 North Broadway Street

The John Leiser House is a 2½-story, Greek Revival/Vernacular style Joliet limestone structure built in 1874. The house is distinguished by an offset, double wood-panel front door with transom and limestone hood mold. The front gable structure has a rosette in the gable. The structure exhibits Greek Revival massing and Italianate detailing as seen in the segmental arched hood molds over the windows and in the projecting bay. The structure is a Local Landmark.
