Hugo Griep House — 11 South Hunter Avenue

Large Image of Hugo Griep House

The Hugo Griep House is a 2½-story wood clapboard Queen Anne Vernacular/Stick style structure built in 1899. The front façade displays the asymmetrical design typical of the Queen Anne style. The main body of the house is a 2-story el-shaped plan. The steeply pitched main roof caps the el wings. The house is distinguished by cut cedar shingle siding on the second floor level and the gables set in 3 bands of patterns. The structure is a Local Landmark and part of the Vernacular Thematic District.
