The E.E. Thornberg House is a Vernacular/Queen style structure built in 1910 on a Joliet limestone foundation. The front façade is dominated by a full-width, open front porch supported by three large wood columns with Tuscan capitals and bases. The right-of-center front door appears to be original. The structure is part of the Vernacular Thematic District.
