Boundary Justification

Raynor’s Addition Local Historic District is a cohesive collection of late 19th and early 20th century historic properties. The District extends along Western Avenue from Raynor Avenue on the east to Prairie Avenue on the west. The local district is part of the original 1872 plat of Raynor’s Subdivision by George C. Raynor, a prominent physician and real estate developer.
