Mobile Device
Joliet's CitizenVUE mobile device app allows a user to submit service requests through a free smartphone app available on Apple iOS, Google Play, and Microsoft Windows stores, directly to the City of Joliet.
- Search “CitizenVUE”, in your device's app store.
- Device compatibility requirements
- Apple iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch - iOS 13.0 or later
- Mac - macOS 11.0 or later or Mac with Apple M1 chip
- Android - 5.0 and up
- Microsoft Windows - 10 version 18362.0 or higher
- Download (VUEWorks: CitizenVUE) and you are ready to begin submitting your non-emergency residential/community issues to the city.
- Allows user to take or upload up to five pictures into the service request from your file database from your mobile device.
- Check the "My Requests" tab for tracking information on your recently submitted service request with the city.
City Hall
Service requests can also be submitted in person at the City Hall Information Desk or over the phone at 815-724-4005 during business hours.
- Be prepared to provide the address location of the concern.
- All calls received at the Information Desk may be recorded for quality assurance.
- Inform staff if you would like to remain anonymous.
Online Portal
Service requests may also be submitted through our online website portal at www.joliet.gov. From the homepage select the Report an issue button.
- No account or user login is required.
- Photo submission is required to start the submission process.
- Upload up to five pictures into the service request from your file database from your computer.
- Keep track of the generated service request number for follow up purposes with the city. This method does not track submitted service request numbers.
