A: The State of Illinois maintains Jefferson Street from Larkin Avenue west, Route 30 from Black Road (6 corners) north and west, all of Larkin Avenue, Route 30 on the East Side from the Train bridge east, Route 6 on the east side from the E.J.&E. train bridge east and Collins Street from Kronmeyer (Joliet Prison) north. The County maintains Black Road from Essington Road west and Caton Farm Road from Illinois 59 to County Line road.

A: Sod damage to be repaired by City. Mailboxes to be repaired by homeowner. City may reimburse homeowner for mailbox, however, if mailbox was not installed per the Postal Department regulations, there will be no reimbursement. A: Streets are swept in a regular pattern usually within 4-5 weeks. It is the desire of the Roadways Division to sweep neighborhood streets once every 4-5 weeks. This is dependent on weather and daily workload.
