Below are the City of Joliet Special Provisions as revised on October 15, 2020 and the City of Joliet General Conditions as updated on November 25, 2020.  The Special Provisions supplement the "Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction," adopted April 1, 2016, with "Supplemental Specifications and Recurring Special Provisions", latest edition, along with the latest edition of the "Illinois Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devised for Streets and Highways," and the "Standard Specifications for Water and Sewer Main Construction in Illinois" in effect on the date of invitation for bids.   In case of conflict with any parts of said specifications, the said Special Provisions shall take precedence and shall govern.  The above named publications shall be referred to as the "Standard Specifications" which apply to and govern construction within the City of Joliet.
