Inspections are required, depending on the type of permit, to ensure safety and code compliance.  If the inspector finds that some work does not meet code or ordinance requirements, you will be advised to make corrections and schedule a re-inspection.

Call 815-724-4070 between the hours of 8:00am - 3:30pm.  Be prepared with the following information on hand (failure to provide the information below will result in a request to call back):

1. Site Contact's Name & Phone Number

2. Permit Number

3. Type of Inspection

4. Address

5. Include Lot Numbers or general directions for all new builds

All Inspections are scheduled for the next business day - at least 24 hours in advance, with the exception of fire sprinkler, suppression, alarms, tents/stages or racking.
