Lottery for Candidates who Simultaneously Filed Petitions
The lottery to determine ballot order of candidates who simultaneously filed petitions to run for Joliet At-Large City Council positions in the 2025 Consolidated Election will take place on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. in the City Clerk's Office located in the Joliet Municipal Building, 150 W. Jefferson Street, Joliet, Illinois. The lottery is open to the public and candidates are not required to attend.

Consolidated Election

The lottery to determine ballot order of candidates who simultaneously filed petitions will take place on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. in the City Clerk's Office located in the Joliet Municipal Building, 150 W. Jefferson Street, Joliet, Illinois.  The lottery is open to the public and candidates are not required to attend.

All petitions filed by candidates (or their designee) waiting in line at the City Clerk's Office at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, November 12, 2024 are considered simultaneously filed.  In addition, all petitions filed by candidates (or their designee) after 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 18, 2024 will be considered simultaneously filed.
