Vision

The Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure is built-out with Charging Stations located in key areas of the City to support the growing demand of the electric-mobility market--electrical cars, trucks, buses, bikes, and the other e-mobility units. There would be Level 3 Chargers within one mile of our interchanges and also Level 2 Chargers at key locations throughout the City (see map of potential locations by clicking here).

Overall Goal

To secure grant funds, select host locations for charging stations, and partner with a Charging Network Developer to finance, own, manage, operate, and maintain to EV Charging Infrastructure.

Electric Vehicle Demand

Electric Vehicle sales today represent a small percentage of vehicle sales. However, EV sales are expected to growth to nearly 30% to 505% of all vehicle sales by 2030.
