Downtown Joliet Parking Validation Program

The City of Joliet is providing free parking for the customers shopping or dining who park in the city’s Ottawa Street Parking Deck (see below). 

The retail businesses and restaurants located on Chicago Street between Jefferson Street and Cass Street will validate parking for customers parked in the City’s Ottawa Street Parking deck. Patrons will be required to bring the ticket they received at the parking deck entrance gate to the business they are patronizing which will then stamp and validate the parking ticket.

Terms and Conditions

• Parking validations are available for use by patrons of Chicago Street retail establishments located between Jefferson and Cass Streets
• Parking validations can only be used at Ottawa Street Parking Deck (Number 3 below, in purple).
• Validations are for customer use ONLY (not for use by business owners or employees).
• Businesses may not sell validations (they may only be provided to customers).
• Validation waives all parking fees.
• Validations are only valid for the date issued and expire at 11:59 pm for the same date.
• Validations have no residual value. Once expired, they may not be returned to the city for a refund.
