“Emerging from the pandemic with a show like Friends! The Musical Parody couldn’t be more fitting and exciting” says Alison Spiriti, Partner and Co-Founder of Right Angle Entertainment. “Friends across New York and America are gathering again, and laugher and fun are at the top of everyone’s to do list. It just seems right. Friends! The Musical Parody is a way to actually bring real friends together again – both in New York and all across the country as we launch this national tour."
It’s a typical day at New York’s only coffee shop, Central Perk, until an unexpected runaway bride bursts in and kicks the whole gang out of second gear! The musical recreates favorite moments from all 10 seasons of Friends through an uncensored, fast-paced, music-filled romp. The show is recommended for audiences aged 13+. FRIENDS! THE MUSICAL PARODY was created by Bob and Tobly McSmith.
Songs from FRIENDS! The Musical Parody include:
- “495 Grove Street – How Can We Afford This Place?”
- “How You Doin’?” – Joey
- “We Were On A Break!” – Ross
- “Oh. My. God. It’s Janice!” – Janice
- “Will They or Won’t They?” – Ross and Rachel
- “The Ballad of Fat Monica”
- “Could I BE Anymore…In Love with You” – Chandler
