Medications (unused, expired or unwanted) Medication should NEVER be discarded down the drain or thrown into the garbage. Unused, expired and unwanted medication is a health and safety risk, as well as a potential threat to waterways. Drop off locations for medications are located at several locations in Joliet and in Will County.
Residents should research to make sure the medication(s) you are trying to discard qualify for drop off at any of the locations prior to dropping off. For locations and more information, please click here.
Moving? Garbage and Recycling carts are the property of Waste Management. Please leave the garbage and recycling carts for the next resident. Your cooperation is appreciated.
